Cute room, a really good bed, we could rest good. the breakfast is simple and great, fresh and homemade. The stuff in the breakfastroom was so friendly we felt very comfortable. We enjoyed the interior, warm, cosy and stylish. thank you for the nice stay!

We booked our holiday through my hubbys work benefits called Tour Centre UK, little bit disappointed in them as they failed to put our surname on hotel reservation. Flew from London Stansted direct to Munich on Easy jet and returned on Euro wings. Accommodation we were booked into annexe which is just Off hotel, room classed as standard very small, shower room very small no room to dry yourself so have to stand in bedroom. Our room 115 had a smell like damp / musky informed reception staff who didn't want to check or offer an alternative, the male reception staff on check in to be honest was not helpful. I laid down on my bed and could still smell an horrible smell I tracked it down to my pillow it smelt of BO. I went back to reception again ( he didn't answer the phone ) I requested 4 pillows and explained they smelt he refused to smell. Pillows extremely thin (just a like a napkins). Room got cleaned daily but couldn't solve the small, another guest suggested to see the female receptionist as much more helpful, she offered another room still in annexe on 2nd floor the corridor smelt of smoking however the room didn't decided to stay where we were and open window. Nearest train station is Reim which is 6 stops to Marienplatz to the Christmas Markets. The Christmas Markets a little disappointing small compared to Stuttgart and Koln. Well worth visiting Haufbrau Haus gets very busy on a Saturday drinking beer in steins and listen to the band traditional German beer and food great atmosphere also Rathaus Keller worth a visit again gets busy in evening so you may be queuing food very nice. Gluhwein and bratwurst around the markets and an ice rink. Airport to hotel travel on S8 6 stops and then change onto S2 which is 2 stops to Reim. If staying at hotel ensure you are in hotel and not annexe as annexe is noisy. Breakfast in restaurant is a buffet great selection only hot food is scrambled eggs which are very nice. Evening meal in restaurant is nice but is expensive

Hotel is clean, however the rooms are small and the Bathrooms are minute. This hotel is also very very expensive whenever there is a show on at the nearby Messe. Breakfast was great with a good choice and very tasty

We arrived several hours before check-in. Desk clerk helped us locate free parking outside hotel, sold us train tickets so we could kill some time in Munich. Hotel located in quiet neighborhood, quaint little church across the road. 10 minute walk to train station. 15-minute ride to Marienplatz, center of 'old' Munich. Breakfasts were top notch, with staff bustling to keep fresh food in the buffet, and tables cleaned and ready for next guests. Charming little courtyard dining area, where we met - and drank with - fellow guests: two delightful men from Dusseldorf. Nearby hotel a block away has a very nice restaurant.

We read the reviews before going and the most helpful was the advice to check out the route of the short walk to the Hotel, if arriving by train. We found the staff; front desk and restaurant to be very friendly and helpful. We even bought our three day train pass to travel to Oktoberfest and the city at the front desk. They told us which the best stations were and how and where to validate the tickets. Traveling by train was convenient and about 20 minutes to the central train station. Our room was in the Annex behind the quaint Bavarian hotel you see in the photos but it was quiet, clean and modern even if it was compact. As every other reviewer has said the included breakfasts are super. Continental style breakfast and includes so much; meat, cheese, great baked breads, cereals, yogurt, vegetables and fruit. We also ate dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed it as a farewell to our European holiday.
